Four of us had a fathers and sons fishing trip (two Dads and two sons). We are not experienced fishermen, but do like to deep sea fish when we can. The weather was sunny and hot but the water was a little rough. It didn’t cause us sea sickness, but it was difficult to move around. Other than that, the fishing was great. Our sons kept pulling in the fish and the mate kept the lines baited and ready to be fished. My youngest son had quite a few questions about sharks and the mate answered them all. It was a great trip.

Contacting the captain to verify the trip and get detail directions to the dock and boat was hit and miss.  After four calls, I finally managed to contact Cpt. Watson and he provided verbal directions late the evening before our 0530 departure.  Once we found his boat, he told us to load up our stuff and we could go.  After driveing past the jetties, we fished for bait for about an hour ( I did ask to buy bait but none was available) to get enough to go off shore.  Three hours after leaving the dock we finally dropped our first line to catch some fish.  Although the first two location were not productive, we finally manage to find a spot with some red snapper.  Caught our limit in short order. Then the Cpt. said we were moveing to another spot. . . He never asked what we wanted to catch…. just fish here and catch this.  !  The mate was young and tried his best to accomodate, but at 17 had few communication skill. Fished offshore for about to hours, then back to the dock.  We tried to politely critique the Cpt. and the mate, but they seemed more intrested in taking pictures of the few fish we caught than listening to anything we had to say.
Very disappointed for the price charged.  Yes we did catch some fish. . . but that’s why we hired a “professional”(?) charter.  Guess there is no standard other than catching a few fish?  Not my benchmark!  Titian

We were delayed due to a mechanical issue with the boat, but it was all fixed up and we had a great time catching plenty of fish to bring home to our vacation party of 33. Awesome time!

Cold start to the morning, April 20, 2018.  Great trip, good fishing, awesome deck hand ( Josh ) and knowledgeable captain.  Will definitely do this trip again.  Only bad part was 56 degrees when we left the dock.  Warmed up nicely and we were so busy catching fish we forgot about it being cold.  Great job to to Capt. Bill and Josh!  Lots of fish to take home and enjoy another day.

These guys knew what they were doing   The mate josh was experienced friendly and a pro
Literally reeled them in as fast as possible. Caught 3 at a time and Josh took the rod after they had been brought in and handed you another rod baited and ready to go
No time wasted ! Awesome trip
I would highly recommend these guys if you wanna catch fish they know where they are !

Great trip. Caught a lot of fish. Wore us out reeling them up from over 100 ft down. Avoid daulpins as they steel fish after hooking them

We paid for a marlin fishing trip, but the ship mate laughed at us. They were very nice, and prorated our cost because a storm came up.  We were tossed all over the boat, and my husband hurt his shoulder in a fall.

We went shark fishing with Captain Bill and 1st mate Jacob on 8-16-2016.  They made our trip very pleasant and enjoyable.  Bill told us that on his last trip that they caught 6 small sharks.  They put out the shark bait and we waited.  The fist one that hit must have been a big one as it broke the line.  Then came the next one we landed and it was all hands on deck trying to get him to the boat.  After a lengthy battle, (you will have to watch the video on Sweet William III’s Facebook page), we were able to get him to the boat and he was about a 7 foot Bull Shark.  It was quite an experience catching something that large.  Unfortunately, he was the only one we landed, but that’s fishing and we had a great time fishing on Captain Bill’s boat.  I hope all your other trips are exciting for the anglers waiting to got deep sea fishing.

Thanks for the great time.  John, Cathy, Joe & Sherry
