The captain was at the boat ramp.Early, waiting for us he was very professional, and with a smile, Both my husband and I got our personal best fish on our trip. No frills bells or Whistles, Just years of knowledge of these water and put us on the fish.

Captain Jerry was awesome! Started out for a walleye trip just couldn’t get them to bite. We were marking a lot of fish just couldn’t get them. He asked if we wanted to try pike or continue to try for walleye, we opted for pike. He immediately switched gear with no hesitation and it was game on! I took my 19 year old son and two teenage grandsons out with Capt Jerry on 2 consecutive days.  Both trips were great.  Capt Jerry’s boat and equipment were first class.  As for Capt Jerry, he is; friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.  He took us out for pike the 1st day and we caught BIG Pike.  On the second day we went out for Walleyes.  He took us to the walleyes, we found them on the sonar but they just weren’t feeding, so he pivoted and we caught Bass (4 1/2 lb was the biggest).... Jerry tried really hard for us to catch fish. But they just wasn’t cooperating.  But we did catch a couple nice ones.  Would definitely recommend this charter and we will be going again

Water was smooth, and Captain Jerry was friendly and knowledgeable of the lake. Coffee can or bucket for toilet so we didn’t drink much during the 6hr trip. Boat had a wrap around plastic front to shield from spray, no 1st mate. Just 2 of us, small 20ft craft. Wanted walleye but instead got a 6lb northern pike. Jerry tried a few spots he was familiar with and different lures but only yielded a large mouth bass. Maybe other areas to try could have yielded more fish. We felt safe and good value... More
