Captain Mac was great and very accommodating. He knew where to go for fish and he was joking and cutting up with the guys. He was really interactive and was giving us tips and tricks. I got really sea sick and the port-a-potty on the boat was a life saver. We caught tons of fish all day and caught 6 we were able to take home. I would definitely book with him again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 1/2day+ fishing with Captain Mac!  He was very knowledgeable, super personable and worked hard to get us our super delicious black and red drums that he fileted so we could have Fins prepare our dinner that night, what a GREAT DAY!!!  Highly recommend Cpt Mac!

Our group of five had a great time with Captain Mac and his firstmate, Boomer his dog, fishing in various spots in the bay, mostly near Ingleside. We were a group of mostly novice fishermen and Captain Mac was patient with us, giving us sound casting advice, frequently re-baiting hooks, untangling lines and generally giving us the best opportunity to catch fish. Captain Boomer and his first mate Mac were great. We didn’t catch a lot of fish, but they provided us with a great experience and taught us some tricks and skills much needed when fishing around Port Aransas. I highly recommend them, and will certainly return to use their services.

I booked a trip with Mac out of the many options available. Mac was very nice and punctual. This was a family trip with my dad and older sister. My dad loves to fish but doesn’t go out much and my sister had never fished off a boat since she was a kid. Mac was great helping my sister understand how everything works.
