It was rough weather conditions and I did suggest to reschedule for a better forecast day, days in advance of the trip.  The crew worked hard under the conditions to attempt to locate the fish but it just didn’t happen under rough seas.  I did go against my better judgment in order to meet your request to fish on Good Friday.  Thank you for fishing with us and I hope to see y’all again in the future.

The crew of Reel Adventure regrets that this trip was unsuccessful.  Because of the weather conditions I had considered canceling the trip altogether, however knowing you had traveled from Texas we did attempt to make the best of it.  Earlier that morning we drove thirty miles to purchase live shrimp to add to the live Croaker to enhance this trip’s bait supply.  The changing currents, and high wind combined, created very unfavorable conditions that prohibited us from freely moving to some other fishing spots.  Where we did fish is a proven hot spot for Speckled Trout unfortunately the bite didn’t happen in the time frame we had.  It’s very, very, rare that a day like this occurs.  Please contact me to offer you a another opportunity to fish with us, because we do catch fish!
