This was NOT a deep sea trip.  I DO NOT do deep sea trips.  Don’t know where or how you were informed that this was a “Deep Sea” trip.  I only do jetty trips and have always only done jetty trips.  Boat had at least 3/4 of a tank of gas, as I top my tank off with fuel every other trip.  Bait WAS NOT left over from previous day.  Live bait, especially live shrimp, does not survive well or very long in heat of summer. This is due to extremely warm water temperatures.  Was a little hesitant on going out initially due to storms in the area and did talk about the possibility of cancelling and rescheduling.  We decided to go out and luckily the storms and bad weather stayed around us and never hit us directly.
