    The best bang for your buck.

    Chad was a great captain, he took care of any and all needs we had, took us to a bunch of spots, and put us on the fish. He was super knowledgeable and had quite a few funny stories to tell as well. I highly recommend this trip.

    Captain Chad was great, we had a lot of laughs and caught a lot of fish. Including a cajun grand slam. would highly recommend him for your fishing charter. Super nice and very helpful. Will definitely be calling him again.

    Awesome Trip

    1-2 People Inshore Fishing Trip • 2 adults

    One of the best charters I’ve been on. My sons(6) first charter trip and could not have been better. Captain Chad put us on fish, and Gage kept the bait coming. Redfish, trout, sheepshead, alligator gar and taught us both new tricks throughout the day. Highly recommend, will be fishing with Capitals Chad again soon.

    Cap’ n Chad is one of the most entertaining guides you’ll ever have the experience of fishing with. He has a jolly manner about him that makes for a memorable bayou experience that will probably stick with for the rest of your years. You can’t help but laugh and have a grand time all the while catching fish all day long.

Fall fishing begins and it's all about light tackle and natural bait. This is the best time to target schools of Trout. Fishing for Specks in Shell Beach can be especially fruitful.

Louisiana Cajun Grand Slam

May 16, 2026 • St. Bernard
Today we had Johnny, Matt,Adam and Brandon on board. It was a little windy so we decided to go after Redfish. It was great idea. These guys caught a Cajun Grand Slam. 16 reds, 1 speckled trout, 4 sheepshead and 2 flounders. Using live shrimp under a popping cork. Great day with a great group of guys.

These guys came in from Indiana to catch some speckled trout and that they did. They caught their 4 man limit and a few bonus redfish and flounders. Great day with a great group. Come down to Hopedale,La and join in on the fun.
