Fishing with Captain Joe was a great experience.  He had everything we needed for a great morning on Cayuga Lake.  He taught us newbies everything we needed to know about trolling for trout.  We hooked up some great fish and loved the fight getting them to the boat.  In between bites we a great time hearing about fishing in the finger lakes and Lake Ontario from Joe.  I would recommend Captain Joe to everyone.

Knowledgeable guide. Helped us understand what we needed to do to catch as many trout as possible. Managed to catch two and hook over half a dozen all together.

We had a delightful day with Captain Joe!  Captain Joe arrived on time and seemed most knowledgeable.  As he said it, “He’s been doing this his whole life.”  The boat was comfortable and equipment adequate.  The fish weren’t very cooperative, but we persevered.  We snagged 13 fish, lost 5, threw two little guys back and came home with 6 trout.  All in all, it was a fantastic day!

Perfect day, Captain Joe knows the water, fish and techniques which made for a great day. Impressed with how he appreciates the species and ecology preserving both in his dialog and practices. Went home with several beauties and memories too!
