I chartered a 1/2 day morning trip with Capt Austin last February for our trip to Orange Beach, AL in early June, 2024.  my Wife, 17yr old Granddaughter, and myself met Capt Austin at Happy Harbor as planned at 7am.  Capt is very courteous, well-mannered, and professional.  His fishing equipment is well-maintained, clean, and in working order.  We fished the Outer Bay Area for a couple of hours and caught a dozen fish (Mackeral, Trigger Fish, and Red Fish).  The weather was sunny and windy.  The views were picturesque.  Sea life was abundant, ie Bait fish, Dolphins, a few Sharks, a huge Manta Ray…. We returned to the Inner Bay area and finished our morning fishing.  Overall an enjoyable trip exploring areas that we have not seen on our previous trip to OB.  Would recommend Capt Austin as a fishing guide for this area.  Tight Lines, and Keep your Rod Tip up!

5 of us went out with Captain Austin for a 6 hour trip and had a blast.  First place we stopped, he got us into speckled trout and Spanish Mackerel almost immediately.  Later in the afternoon we took turns smacking big reds. 

Austin is good with kids and taught them the right tactics for targeting the different types of fish we were chasing.  He had an excellent knowledge of the area and knew when it was time to reel up and change tactics or locations.  While other boats were struggling, we were high fiving and taking pictures.

The boat is nice and well maintained.  Fishing gear was adequate for the type of fishing we were doing.  Austin was diligent making sure our large group was taken care of consistently throughout the trip.  Highly recommended.
