I have wanted to fish South Florida for years.  Fishing Texas all my life, I wanted to catch a shallow water Tarpon and a large snook.  While I’ll have to wait on the Tarpon, the captain did put me on a large snook and Goliath grouper, all on light tackle.  A few snapper mixed in, it was an awesome trip.  I will be back.  Captain Jim knows the backwaters and is a great guide.

Wonderful experience in every way. Captain Jim took the extra time to make the trip memorable. Made sure we were secure and comfortable, gave us careful instruction, while at the same time being friendly and supportive. Overall grade: A++

We had a great day even with muddy waters. Captain Jim put us on the fish all day and my nephew caught his first snook at 31”. Thanks for a good day of fishing, we will definitely be coming back.

Although the fishing bite was admittedly slow, we really enjoyed our time with Jim. He worked his tail off to put us on the best spots and with the appropriate tackle for each spot. We caught numerous species, and learned some new techniques that we can take back to enhance our freshwater fishing back home. We’ll done!

We picked one of the colder mornings of the year to head out and fish. The fish were slow to bite but we still had a good time.  Very well cared for equipment and boat was impeccable. Would highly recommend!
