Caught a bunch of Bonitoa, rainbow runners, and a big Wahoo on a 4 hour afternoon trolling trip.  Waters were pretty rough (6-7’ seas), but Captain and Shaggy (mate) had us well taken care of.  Shaggy is a top notch mate and handles a dozen lines, swapping baits/making adjustments, etc in big seas all while making it look effortless.

The 6 of us had a blast and would definitely recommend this boat/crew.  The only suggestion to others booking is to speak up about keeping your portion of the fish.  The boat policy is to share among your party, the boat, and folks at the dock that work with the crew (at least that’s what we were told to expect going in).  We were warned ahead of time by our cab driver to make sure we get our fair share and not let the crew take your fish to the market to sell themselves.  We did have to speak up more than we probably should have to end up with our fair share (even though we only wanted about a quarter of the catch) to bring back for ourselves and the rest of our group at the resort.  The captain and mate argued a bit off to the side over what they wanted to share with us.  It didn’t ruin the trip, but it added an unnecessary moment of contentiousness, which is a shame after such an awesome afternoon spent fishing and being buddies with the crew.  Other than that single issue, we couldn’t have asked for much better of a trip.

We had a wonderful time fiahing in Aruba with Captain Gregory amd Shaggy. We were forewarned that it was going to be a bit rough on the water, which it was. Captain did a great job in handling the waves and the boat. Shaggy was “Johnny on the spot” when lines got tangled, needed relying, and great convo. We were blessed with a Bonita and an Albacore Tunaa. We could have asked for more, but Poseidon was not having it. We did better than the other 3 boats in the group today, so it was a difficult day of fishing. Super friendly and welcoming, we totally recommend this crew and boat. Very glad I spent a bit more to get the ‘42 boat, as it handled the rougher water so much better. Good people, good times, good fish…tight lines!!!

These guys were awesome! I am a fisherwoman from USA and being in Aruba I really wanted to fish. I had no one to go with so when I got to the boat I was alone, but the guys made me feel safe and welcomed. Shaggy was the best first mate I’ve seen in my life. He worked so hard constantly checking lines and prepping baits all during 8-9ft seas with an extremely positive attitude. Captain got us on fish and was extremely kind and professional. The captain expertly navigated the rough waters. We caught 1 good size tuna and 3 barracudas. Awesome day, will 100% recommend them!

Our morning fishing trip with Captain Gregory and First Mate Shaggy was the highlight of our week-long trip to Aruba.  Our party was composed of myself, an experienced fisherman, and my partner, who hasn’t fished in his adult life.  Shaggy was very patient with us.  Also, it was great fun watching him set up the various poles, baits, and lures.  We caught two large wahoo!  Once back on land, Captain Gregory filleted our catch and delivered it to a local restaurant where we ate it that evening.  Highly recommended!

Went out with my two teenage boys at 7am on Ka-Passa with Captain Gregory and the hardest working first mat you could ask for Shaggy.
        Boat was clean and well prepared, captain Gregory put us on the fish pretty quick as Shaggy worked hard guiding my boys to land some nice Wahoo one of which came in at 29 pounds!
      Shaggy works hard always checking lines and making sure the gear and bait are in the best shape possible to catch fish.
I would highly recommend the Ka-Passa for your fishing charter.
