Local species include Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Albacore Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 42’ Motor yacht that can carry up to 8 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A tip is optional on customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. We offer free drinks on board and the catch on board will be yours.

Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Review summary

Ke Pasa Aruba's standout is a proactive, highly skilled crew that consistently puts guests on multiple fish per trip and arranges restaurant-ready catch after the charter.
Longer charters may be warmer inside the cabin when climate control is limited, and bite rates can vary with sea conditions, so guests should expect variability.
What Guests loved
Keep in mind
  • On a single outing, guests landed 11 Mahi and 1 Sailfish, demonstrating strong big‑game potential and rapid action.
  • A 4-hour charter has documented catch totals around 10 fish, illustrating efficient baiting, line management, and steady bite periods.
  • The crew provides catch cleaning and restaurant-cooking logistics, guiding guests to a nearby restaurant to prepare the day's catch.

Exactly what we wanted
3/4 Day Trip on July 20, 20257 adults
It's our first trip to Aruba with a family of 7 (ages ranging from 18-52). The top of the request wish list was a fishing trip, and we found Kepasa by chance online. We are so lucky that we did! Booking the trip and additional communication was quick and easy. Captain Greg and first mate Toby went above and beyond. We felt that our safety was first and foremost, and making sure we were catching fish all day was their biggest priority. Everyone had a chance (or two) in the fighting chair and we reeled them in. Thanks for the great experience, would 100% book again with this company.

Great day on the Ke Pasa.
Half Day Trip (AM) on September 12, 20254 adults
Had a 4hr morning charter for 4 people. We arrived and they were ready to go. We had rough seas but the captain is very knowledgeable and tried his hardest to put us on fish. His mate is first rate and worked his tail off trying to put us on the fish as well. We only caught 1 mahi but again not for lack of trying on their part. Thats why they call it fishing and not catching. I would have no problem booking them again. I definitely recommend Ke Pasa for your next charter.

Very successful 4 hours trip
Half Day Trip (AM) on September 9, 20252 adults
My wife and I booked a four hour trip with Ke Pasa charters. We arrived a few minutes before 7am and were promptly underway at 7. lines were out as soon as we hit open water. They employed a variety of techniques to fish at multiple depths. We pulled in 5 mahi and a barracuda. When we returned, the captain filleted a fish for us and the restaurant on the marina cooked it for us right there. Thank you Captain Gregory and First Mate Jay for a fantastic experience!

Great trip! Great boat and crew.
Half Day Trip (PM) on January 6, 20252 adults
Caught a bunch of Bonitoa, rainbow runners, and a big Wahoo on a 4 hour afternoon trolling trip. Waters were pretty rough (6-7' seas), but Captain and Shaggy (mate) had us well taken care of. Shaggy is a top notch mate and handles a dozen lines, swapping baits/making adjustments, etc in big seas all while making it look effortless. The 6 of us had a blast and would definitely recommend this boat/crew. The only suggestion to others booking is to speak up about keeping your portion of the fish. The boat policy is to share among your party, the boat, and folks at the dock that work with the crew (at least that's what we were told to expect going in). We were warned ahead of time by our cab driver to make sure we get our fair share and not let the crew take your fish to the market to sell themselves. We did have to speak up more than we probably should have to end up with our fair share (even though we only wanted about a quarter of the catch) to bring back for ourselves and the rest of our group at the resort. The captain and mate argued a bit off to the side over what they wanted to share with us. It didn't ruin the trip, but it added an unnecessary moment of contentiousness, which is a shame after such an awesome afternoon spent fishing and being buddies with the crew. Other than that single issue, we couldn't have asked for much better of a trip.

Amazing Captain and Crew
Half Day Trip (AM) on February 6, 20251 adult
These guys were awesome! I am a fisherwoman from USA and being in Aruba I really wanted to fish. I had no one to go with so when I got to the boat I was alone, but the guys made me feel safe and welcomed. Shaggy was the best first mate I've seen in my life. He worked so hard constantly checking lines and prepping baits all during 8-9ft seas with an extremely positive attitude. Captain got us on fish and was extremely kind and professional. The captain expertly navigated the rough waters. We caught 1 good size tuna and 3 barracudas. Awesome day, will 100% recommend them!
