Captain Chris and his first mate John were fantastic! After intros and safety rundown we were on our way to the North jetty to catch fish - and catch fish we did. It took a little bit of practice to get the hang of casting and Chris and John were spot on to help cast and coach us on how to get better. We never got quite as good as the pros, but that didn’t stop us from catching about twenty fish across six or seven species. Nine were in regulation and good-eating fish, black drum, sheephead, speckled trout, and gaffhead catfish (they cleaned and packed up all the fish for us that we’re going to enjoy this week for dinner). We caught some good bait fish for sharks so took off to another spot to try to reel in a big one. While we didn’t get a shark, the whole day flew by talking about music, sports, family and having a great day of fishing. Only regret is that we didn’t book a longer trip, we’ll be back again soon for an all day fishing excursion with Chris and John. Thanks to you both for an awesome experience!

I reached out to Capt Chris with hopes to get my dad out of the house for Father’s Day. I’d recently lost my grandmother and my dad was having a hard time. Captain Chris promised me he’d do his best to make sure he enjoyed his day on the water and just as promised, this trip was everything my family needed and more! We were able to catch some nice sheep head and a black drum! So grateful to have met these amazing people! We’re already planning our next trip! Thank you so much!

We had a great time with captain Chris and deckhand John. We had terrible weather the day before our trip so we knew there would be a chance of not catching fish, but we caught fish! Captain Chris worked to find the good spots. He’s friendly with other guides so they’d call each other about different spots. An easy relaxed trip. They are really good dudes and donate trips to Shriners burn children and disabled Veterans. Will definitely fish with them again!

I can’t recommend them enough. But good fish in the boat and made some core memories for my son’s 15th birthday. The guys were amazing, helpful, extremely attentive, and easy going. If you book a guide in Galveston this is the guy. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time out, we had a family member get sick, so we brought them back to the docks & went back out. Extra gas for the captain, nonetheless, he wanted us to have a great time and great catches. We recommend this crew to anyone. Worth it, great hospitality, comfortability & company.
