We booked on short notice earlier this week and.glad we found this opening. Greg and his partner were amazing, taking us to some great spots inshore and out about 15-20 miles or so.  Our time on board was very fun, relaxing, with great weather adding to the day. We landed some big kings, a snapper, barracuda, and just before heading in, a large crevalle jack which took quite a bit to bring in, but what a fight!

We learned Greg has only been doing this for a couple of years on his own, but you,‘d think he was a very seasoned veteran boat captain just by the way he and his partner worked together to ensure we enjoyed our day and had a great experience. His boat is fantastic and rides well. The beanbag chairs were a nice touch for a comfortable ride. I strongly recommend supporting him and going out on his boat for the longest day of fishing you can get in. We only did 6 hours, but we will definitely look to do another longer trip in the future. Keep up the great work Greg!

What a great day we had with Captain Gregory on the Always Hookin.  The conditions were perfect.  The sheepshead were biting and delicious at the end of the night when we grilled and fried them up!  Captain Gregory knew just the spots to go, and was helpful and patient with our “junior angler” as well.  The boat was super clean and could have easily accommodated a larger party than what we had.  10 out of 10 I would recommend this charter.  Go see Captain G on the Always Hookin for a FANTASTIC day!

November weather is challenging and Captain Greg was very accommodating after the sea state was too high for an offshore trip. At his recommendation, we moved inshore and did a combination of site seeing and fishing in several areas along the river. He and his first mate helped us catch a wide variety of fish, educated us different species and made our day very enjoyable. After catching black drum, redfish, and trout for eating, they cleaned our fish and gave several restaurant recommendations where we could get our fresh catch grilled and served up with sides for a delicious meal. A great way to finish a day. We caught more fish than we could count and kept the legal fish for dinner. When we go back to the Jacksonville area, we will be booking with Capt Greg again.

If you’re looking for a nice boat, easy going crew, and to catch some fish, book this one. We had the perfect day out as a family and Greg/Kendall run a fun and safe operation.

The boat was smooth, comfortably fit all 7 of us. Greg found bait to catch no problem and we were catching king mackerel before we knew it.

I live in Jax and I’ll definitely be adding this to my weekend activities with friends.
