We had a great time fishing with Dorothy’s fishing charter.  Although we only caught 5 barracuda we enjoyed the experience.  The captain and shipmate were right on top of the “hit”, and had us reeling quickly to bring them in.  They even served us snacks and sandwiches.  When we returned, Roberto hooked us up with dinner at the Driftwood restaurant to eat our catch.  They did an amazing job, serving our barracuda 4 ways.  Thank you Roberto and crew, hope to book again with you.

Capt Roberto and his 1st mate were amazing. I’m an experienced angler from NY and was impressed with his knowledge know how. His gear was top notch and provided refreshments and snacks. He put us on tuna right away and snagged some bonnita in the first couple of hours. He then switched course and got us 2 Mahi Mahi and landed us a nice wahoo… 17 fish total for the day. He was nice, respecrful and fun to be around! When we come back to Aruba I can’t wait to book with him again!

We not only had a good day fishing, but we caught a lot of fish, including my largest to date.  Was most impressed with the boat handling in a high sea.

It was obvious from the start that the captain and first mate were truly interested in helping you catch fish and really wanted that to happen for you. It will be a goal of mine to do it again one day on Dorothy! P.S. the picture is the blackened fish that was cooked next to the pier at Lucy’s.

Not much of a fisherman but make sure you know that deep-sea/trolling fishing is the boat constantly moving to catch fish.  We didn’t know and had a few with motion sickness that suffered throughout the trip.  Captian and Luis were wonderful and accommodating.  Went out in late October and caught 2 -Whahoo, 1- Mahi, 1- Barrecutta and later ate them at the Driftwood restaurant.  Would recommend!
