I was visiting with my family from Maine and wanted to go out with someone who knew the area. Cedar Key is beautiful, and Jayson is a great guide. His trip the morning before caught a massive redfish, and he wanted to get me out early to a good spot. The winds kicked up and we ended up getting relatively skunked. Went out on this charter to check reds off my oldest son’s checklist and the captain did not disappoint. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area and did a great job putting us on fish. We caught eight red four that were in slot and even a bonus bull shark overall great experience

We had a great time fishing with Captain Jayson out of Cedar Key! He was very knowledgeable and made everything easy for us. Captain Jayson was especially great with the kids—he helped my nephew with his casting and was super patient.  Even though we got caught in the rain, we still caught fish and had a lot of fun.  We’ll definitely be booking with him again on our next trip!

Captain Jayson is the man! I’ve fished my entire life fresh and saltwater, and I’ve never caught as much fish as I did with this charter. It literally took two days to recover from sore muscles because of the amount of fish reeling. Captain Jayson definitely has money spots and was overwhelming experience in his craft. Booked a morning trip with Capt Jason. Very foggy morning on the water and fish were a little suborn but Jason put us on many spots. Landed a couple good keeper Specs along with catching some smaller ones. Jason definitely knows the area well and it was a tough day to navigate but he did a great job and kept us safe.
