Hey Cody!  Man, we hate to hear of such disappointment on one of our charters, but your frustrations are understandable!  When the Capt asked you guys 2 or 3 times at the jetties if you’d like to follow through or call it due to conditions, y’all were all about goin after em’.  Understand there there is a big difference between unsafe and uncomfortable and your comfort level isn’t the same as the next persons, however we will never run an unsafe trip.  As far as where you were fishing and what you were fishing for, you booked a statewater fishing trip that is not permitted to fish federal waters and is priced accordingly.  We put a ton of time, money, and effort into keeping our vessels clean, safe, and reliable, but as is the case with anything mechanical, it will fail and that motor did exactly that.  I’m not certain of the conversation on the boat, but that motor failed and had to be replaced after your trip.  It would be customary for me to make an attempt to salvage a customer based relationship and offer you a discounted trip on one of our other boats, but since you never stated a grievance, or brought it to our attention to try and address, we will just wish you the best of luck in your future fishing trips and hope you salty gents find some Dramamine on the way to the docks for the next go round.  Tights lines amigo!

We appreciate the review and after talking to the captain, you guys were offered bean bags (the most comfortable and safest) way for clients to relax while underway, they were refused.  The windshield was covered with spray from the poor sea conditions, and the head was usable and I’ve not gotten a straight answer on why the captain told y’all that.  My guess is laziness and will be addressed.  Out of all of the things, I can’t imagine why you would care about our windlass being broken.  Did they make you go pull the anchor?  I wouldn’t use one on any boat or our boats in that depth of water.  General displeasure in a trip is understandable, especially when the fishing is tough, but that will be the one that bewilders me.
