We chose Surreal Fishing Adventures after web searching for someone who had a convenient location, lots to offer, great price and exceptional reviews. Captain Tyler did not disappoint.  A family of 3 with some to no fishing experience, we weren’t sure what to expect. We were all nervous but all of that melted away once we met our Captain and boarded his boat. Captain Tyler knows all the great spots for whatever time of year or day you are fishing. He is mellow, patient, so very helpful and a great teacher. Our moody 13 year old even enjoyed the experience. Our trip happened to fall in the heat of summer, but we still managed to catch a variety of fish and were able to score some that we could take home and eat. The Captain cleans and prepares them for you to take with you. That is awesome! We did a half-day because it was our first time. Highly recommend Surreal Fishing Adventures.

Captain Tyler was a great choice for our adventure.  The whole experience was better than what I thought it was going to be taking my son on his first fishing trip.  Captain Tyler is very knowledgeable of the area and fishing spots.  He was very good at communicating before the trip to make sure he knew what we were fishing for, and have the spot picked out before we started our trip.  We go to Florida often and we will continue to book trips with Captain Tyler based on the great experience we had.  I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a clean boat, great communication, knowledgeable of the fishing area, and a great captain for your adventure.

This guy!  Captain Tyler knows his water. Horrible weather days up to trip. (As a semi pro fisher (Tracker Boat sponsored)  I know his pain).  He put us on fish all day regardless!!!!  My two boys had a blast reeling in Grouper, Snapper, Snook, Trout, you name it!! Boys 14, 12, couldn’t take the smile off their face!  We booked again on the same vacation.  Patience with kids, positive, informative, fish, fish, fish!!  If I had more room to write a review about Tyler I could go on!

The day we were originally supposed to go had thunderstorms in the forecast. Captain Tyler was super flexible and worked with us to change the day. On the rescheduled day, everything was ready to go. He took the time to understand what we wanted to do and set up our trip to match. It was a great experience. Captain Tyler was amazing and patient with our seven year old daughter. He kept her engaged with the action, and moved spots to get a good combination of action and keepers. The four hours flew by. Everyone in the family had a great time. My wife and daughter who both have very little experience really enjoyed themselves and landed quite a few. My sister and I, who have more experience but are still amateurs also had a great day full of action. We will definitely be contacting Tyler for our next trip!
