We booked a shrimp and crab charter with Captian John and his first mate Rowdy. They both were amazing and we had a blast! We learned a lot and caught a lot. We come from New York and Captian John and Rowdy made us feel very welcome aboard their boat. We laughed and joked with them making the 3 hour charter not long enough with them. I highly recommend booking a charter with them! 10 out of 10!!!!

This was an amazing experience!! Captain John and his mate Rowdy were so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We all had a blast and caught a big haul of crab, shrimp, and some fish. Add crabbing and shrimping to your bucket list and take the trip with John and Rowdy with Silver Charters OBX!! You will not be disappointed and you will bring so many memories and home with you.

We had a great time on the water with John and Rowdy. They showed us all about netting shrimp and pulling in crab pots. Very much a learning experience. We got shrimp and crabs on our trip, had some steamed and for supper that evening. Boat and equipment worked flawlessly. Don’t miss this trip on a visit to the Outer Banks it’s very much something you’ll not soon forget!

Captain John was awesome.  He explained everything we were doing and let us help and contribute to all aspects of the trip.  First mate Aiden also very helpful and personable with all of us.    Cleanest boat imaginable.  AND…..we caught more shrimp and crabs than we ever expected.  Thanks again captain John and Aiden for a great experience for our family .  .
