This was my second trip with Captain Roderick. Even though we didn’t catch any big fish this time, the experience was still great. Catching fish can often come down to luck - sometimes you get plenty, and other times you don’t. No complaints at all.

Myself and son booked the day before to go out for a 3 hour trip. Boat was easy to find in St pauls and the captain had great boat control and knowledge of the fishing areas. We went bait fishing for roughly 2 hours and caught all sorts of colourfull fish including an octopus which was quite rare apparently!? Fished with Captain Roderick, he took myself and my two sons ages 12 and 14. We started catching straight away, very patient and helped the boys catch, unhook and return the fish. We fished with different methods and the Captain also took us closer to shore when one of the boys was feeling sea sick, also showed us the caves and also dropped us off back at the bay where we were staying. Great fishing trip with friendly captain and amazing views. Everything was provided and he made it really easy and enjoyable, even for beginners. Would definitely recommend!

Although we didn’t catch any big fish, the experience was absolutely unforgettable! During the trip, we even saw dolphins, which was a wonderful surprise and made the day even more special. The captain did everything he could to help us catch something, but in the end, luck just wasn’t on our side. All in all, we were completely satisfied — for us, this was an incredible experience!
