Just want to thank Captain David Tucker and his crew for a great day out on the water off of St. Simons Island. I had booked this trip for my two twin grandchildren, ages 16 and we could not had a better day and experience. First, let me say that Captain David know the water and his stuff. As an ex navy service man he know boats and waters and was well experienced. His stories about his travels and experience were entering to young and old alike a true patriot and American. With regards to the fishing day we went out about 15-17 miles towards the recks. His boat is fast and well equipped and take the waves and get you to the sites in a hurry. We had a great day catching and even spearing some fish that were swimming by that we could spear as well.  That was unbelievable fun according to my grandson! But what made the trip both enjoyable and exciting was the Captain David and his crew. His personality and the crews helpfulness was outstanding and we could not ask for more. He supplied drinks, snacks and even a bathroom on board! Great Day for all…thanks to Captain David for a great day and for his service to our country.. Jim A

My son, his friend and I went fishing with Captain David and crew.  We have experience with deep sea fishing and have been on many charters.  We have never had such an easy experience booking a trip and the communications up to the trip.  Captain David even called us the morning of to let us know he was about to pull up to the dock.  That was a first!  The Captain was very experienced and had a great crew!  They were all very helpful and worked hard.  I was impressed with how much they continued to train and support each other while at the same doing the same for us.  We had so much fun, and I think the crew did too, that we stayed out longer than expected.  We caught several keepers for eating and many, many Reds that weren’t in season but fun to reel in and release none the less.  There was much laughter among us all and great music which made the trip even that much more fun!  One of the crew even caught a shark which we were able to take pictures of and release.  I would highly recommend this charter and we will certainly book again when back in the area.

Capt David is awesome. He had two first mates today, Devin and Chris, and they were great. We didn’t have to touch a piece of bait!  The crew worked together seamlessly, and Capt David Tucker knows where the fish are at!  Wonderful trip for my son’s 20th birthday.  We landed triggers, sea bass and barracuda. Had to catch and release a few beautiful red snapper.  We also hooked into a sea turtle that they safely unhooked and was set free. Boat is super nice, clean, and well stocked with equipment and tackle. Looking forward to booking with Double Down Charters again.
