We had such a great day. Highly recommend

The short version:  Excellent trip!

The longer version:  Pickup was a breeze.  Pat had us in the stripers as soon as we hit the fishing grounds.  Both he and the first mate were top notch:  very helpful and great with teaching the techniques used.  Once we had it down, they pretty much let us do as much as we felt comfortable with and I really appreciated the respect and independence they afforded us.  We spent the bulk of the morning fishing striped bass, but also spent time jigging for black sea bass and heading into the inlet to jig for fluke to finish out the morning.  Pat would have gladly spent the entire morning fishing stripers, but he gave us options and we elected to try some different species.  Our fish were prepped by the first mate as we were heading back in to the dock.  Upon closer inspection of the fillets once home, I was very happy with the quality of the prep and the meat required only very minimal trimming prior to vac sealing and freezing.

The bottom line is that I would not hesitate to utilize this charter service again in the future.  Excellent service, great fishing, and memories to last a lifetime…what more could you ask for?
