We had high winds and choppy waters but went out anyway to see what we could find. Caught many ‘croaker’s, which I’d never heard of so that was fun. We decided to take it out to the big water, bumpy ride but the scenery was beautiful so we didn’t mind the boat ride. We were able to catch a bigger fish, a Blue fish I believe, and that was it.   Took a four hour tour. Talked with captian night before to figure out a game plan for next day.  Captian gave several options.  Due to weather he came up with an another plan.     Best part of trip was the Captian was making decisions on conditions and where the fish were .  We found a school of Trigger fish and some Sea Bass.  Caught 15 fish in all.     First mate was also excellent. Very helpful getting lines in water fast to catch more fish.

We’re a return customer with Captain Chris.  I’ve brought my kids and nieces to him for their first fishing experiences over the past few years.  He’s great with the kids, showing patience and helping them learn the beginnings of fishing.  They always walk away happy and eager for more.  Looking forward to next time!

Chris was very welcoming and understanding that some of us were out on the water for the first time, including a 7 year old that he let reel some nice sized fish in! Would recommend him to anyone and will definitely hit him up next time down to OBX. Awesome time!

Chris did a great job getting us on fish.  This was my son’s first time fishing in saltwater, and he was very encouraging to him and taught him a lot.  He made this a great first-time experience for him!  We had a great time and we would definitely recommend this charter.
