We departed on time, and Captain Troy went above and beyond to help us catch rockfish. Although we only managed to catch one, he made every effort, taking us to several different spots to improve our chances. Later, we tried our luck catching catfish, unfortunately came up empty-handed. It’s worth noting that no other boats in the area had much luck either. Captain Troy was incredibly kind and attentive, continuously moving us to new locations—from under the bridge to the lighthouse—to ensure we had the best possible experience. I definitely recommend him to anyone and will be returning next time.

We had an absolutely amazing time on Mallard Fishing Charter with Captain Troy! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The Captain was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and excited for the day ahead. He provided all the gear we needed and gave great tips to help us reel in some impressive catches.
The boat was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and we were taken to some fantastic fishing spots. We caught more fish than expected, including a few big ones that made the trip unforgettable!
What really stood out was the Captain Troy’s passion for what he does. He was just as excited as we were every time someone got a bite, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.

Captain Troy took my family fishing in the Chesapeake Bay.  The bay was still reacting to the effects of Hurricane Erin and so it was a bit rough, making the fishing more challenging..  Captain Troy worked really hard to the fish and my family didn’t go home empty handed - we had a nice fish supper which we really enjoyed.  Thank you for all your efforts, Captain Troy
