If you want a completely great experience fishing for Tarpon, then do not hesitate to book with Jared @ Living on the Line. He is very experienced, extremely knowledgeable about Tarpon, very helpful & “savvy” about fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. I did catch a monster Tarpon with Jared as the guide. If you want to fish for other species like Redfish, Snook, Sea Trout, or Permit, then he is your Man as well. I very much look forward to fishing with him again - it was an amazing experience fishing with Jared & the whole experience could have easily been a National Geographic Special - book with him - you won’t be disappointed!

This was my trip for tarpon and Captains Jared and Steve-O really delivered. My son caught two huge tarpon and the captains’ expert instruction got both to the boat for pics and successful release. After tarpon slowed down, we went out to a reef for permit fishing and I caught a 25 lb monster - amazing fight. My son caught one two and several more broke off in the rocks after fighting for awhile.  Highly recommended - I’ve done many fishing trips and this was the best big fish trip ever!

Fantastic day on the water with Captain Jared.  Great attitude and solid boat.  We started a bit early and he brought us immediately to many tarpon rolling.  We had one to the boat in less than an hour.  Throughout the afternoon/evening he tried numerous tactics to get us hooked. Even with some poor casts and cross lines he was really patient and encouraging.  We all had one on the line, just tough to bring them in.  Awesome experience and we’ll be back. Highly recommended!!

Captain Jared kept us on the fish moving to all his spots.  We had a great time, we were newbies to start the trip and felt like pros by the end with him guiding us.  His deckhand Jackson kept our lines baited the entire 6 hour trip!
