We booked a 4 hour fishing trip for the evening.  We left on time everything seemed fine.  The captain didn’t ask what we wanted to fish for.  He told us we were going tarpon fishing.  Which is fine.  We had never done that.  This captain had no social skills.  Didn’t let us cast any of the lines.  Yelled at us or insulted us if we didn’t reel it in correctly. Captain was sociable but had a roughness about him and did not exhibit a lot of patience when dealing with inexperienced fishermen. Between my wife and I we came back with one trout, were brought back early and was not offered the fish (cleaned or on ice). My wife hooked a large tarpon which was fun, but all in all if your looking for a nice, knowledgeable guide who can make sure your trip is pleasurable and can really put you on fish…. This guy is probably not your best choice

Ron is very nice and we did catch one good fish but overall I can not recommend.  For 550.00 for 4 hrs, we would expect our captain to go try to find the fish instead of staying in the same place all day, even after more than 2 hours without a bite or offer to go catch a different kind of fish. Also, the hooks were rusty and a line broke in the spool, which typical indicates old line. The line and hooks should be replaced regularly.
