Canyon eagle I and II had great foshing trips for sea bass. Hundreds of fish pulled each trip with most anglers limiting out.

2023 went out with a great Tog trip

What a seemingly easy process to book! Nick is very responsive and accommodating. Had 4 coworkers with me and wanted to do this charter as a team building exercise. It went amazingly! Love the boat, clean and spacious. Caught a s$!t ton of fish! Couldn’t believe it! First time fishing in the ocean! Loved it! Will be back!

After checking with multiple other people the bite was on this morning but we got zero until we had to troll then got one. We had our single lines in the water for less than 30 minutes of a 4 hour trip. Hour ride out and hour back eats up 2 hours of a 4 hour trip. Of the other 2 hours we only had our lines in the water 4 times for about 5 or so minutes each. It was very frustrating. Boats were landing fish all over the place and our captain just couldn’t find the fish. We saw tons of boats... More

Thank you for choosing Canyon Eagle for your charter. I’m truly sorry to hear that the trip didn’t meet your expectations. While we’ve had great success with striped bass this season, the bite can sometimes be unpredictable, especially with the migration patterns in our area. Stripers often move frequently, requiring us to search for them not only daily but multiple times a day.

Given the 4-hour trip, time can be a limiting factor, as locating fish sometimes requires patience. As an experienced angler, you’re aware of the many elements—like winds, tides, moon phases, and barometric pressure—that can influence the fish’s behavior. Trolling was employed as a last effort to cover more ground and was successful in landing a large striper, even though we don’t have control over fish size or government-imposed limits.

Our captain, Angel, prioritized finding fish over fuel costs, covering as much area as possible to increase our chances. Your safety and satisfaction are always our top priorities, and while we strive for successful catches, occasionally, the fish just aren’t cooperative.

We value your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another trip that exceeds your expectations.
