Great crew. It was my son’s 12 birthday. He had an amazing time catching yellow snappers and barracudas. Highly recommended.

At the start of the full day trip we asked Capt Joe to get us on Mahi or Tuna… he got us on both! Came back w 20 mahi, 2 tuna, 11 yellowtail, and a bonita. Our haul was easily bigger than any of the other charters. You know it’s a good day when you start feeling sorry for the people on the other boats once you see how little they brought back. Jess was not only the hardest working first mate I’ve ever seen, but she also has the fishing knowledge to back it up and gave us plenty of great tips. Everyone on board was beyond impressed with her. Next time we come back to Islamorada, I know who to call.

My wife and I booked an 8hr fishing trip with Captain Joe, and we were very satisfied with our day on the water. Captain Joe is very knowledgeable about the area and what you want to fish and will put you on fish that are biting. We took home 10 mahi, 2 black tuna, 2 mackerel, and a variety of snapper and a decent size yellow jack. He was very accommodating of helping us catch dinner, but also spent a good amount of time trying to help us catch a sailfish. Even though we weren’t successful with the sailfish, we still had the best time and day on the boat and a load of fun catching fish. His deck hand Jessica is also very knowledgeable and helpful with catching a variety of fish. Captain Joe and Jessica were very kind, relaxed, and worked hard to ensure we had a success day and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend Captain Joe and the Coral Sea for your Islamorada fishing trip. It is well worth your time and money well spent!

We booked last minute, wanted to catch something/anything cool before we flew out early the next morning. Captain Joe and first mate Jessica were very accommodating and made our quick experience very fun! Landed two big barracuda! From their entertaining personalities to watching the live bate to the fight once we hooked the fish and everything in between, we had a blast!
