You can tell right from the start captain jack cares about having you enjoy you’re time on his boat. From the moment I booked until til we were heading in for the day he asked to make sure we were happy with everything with out rushing to finish the day. Was a great time looking to go again later this summer.

My 12 year old son and I just finished a fantastic day on the water with Captain “Jack”!  The trip was exactly what we were hoping for: a fun and SAFE day on the water learning from an expert and of course - CATCHING FISH! 

From the moment you meet the Captain, you can tell he loves what he is doing.  He has a gift for meeting new people and sharing his knowledge local history and love of fishing and the sea. He was great with my son, providing guidance and knowledge while letting him experience and learn on his own as well.  All told we spent well over 2.5 hours with Captain “Jack” - catching several Bunkers, a few Porgies, and one very interesting Robin Fish.  While the Black Sea Bass and Stripers eluded us, we will definitely be back soon to give it another shot!

Captain “Jack” (John) took us on a great trip!  You can tell he loves being out on the water and meeting new people. He’s a great guy, extremely knowledge and helpful… and we caught lots of fish (porgy, sea bass, flounder, sand shark).  He constantly helped cut up fresh bait and make sure things were set right to catch fish. 

The boat does the job, seats 4 comfortably.  It worked for 3 male adults (plus the captain) with no real issue… you just need to be careful when casting. 

If you’re looking for a great time and an awesome value (2 1/2 hour charter ended up more like 5 hours), then go to his website and text him.

We’d definitely go back, especially when strippers are in the area.

Best experience ever. Captain John was great for us first time fishers and the children loved it. Especially when they caught multiple with the assistance of Captain John. Highly recommended and will go again whenever back in town!
