Spent a morning with Captain Jack chasing Stripers and Blues inshore before heading out a bit for some Fluke and Black Seabass action! Overall great experience!

Captain Jack is awesome! We asked to go fishing off of Black point and it was a beautiful calm day. We got many Scup and small sea bass. On the way back to port, we drifted at Hatchett’s Reef and Mike picked up an 18 inch fluke!
The 2 1/2 hour trip was now at the fifth hour.
Then, Captain Jack bird spied activity at the mouth of the Connecticut River. He maneuvered the boat carefully through the Sunday crowd and calculated tide, wind and drift and Gave permission for us to cast for the blitz!
Again, Captain Jack comes to the rescue! Casting is dangerous enough. Catching bluefish is a rush. Getting the blue fish off the hook without injuring a crewmember is a task in itself. Captain Jack made that process very safe.
Total time on the trip was over six hours and we went about 15 miles.

Sunday May 6th,
John brought my daughter (8 y.o) and I on a ride last Sunday morning.

To enjoy being on the water, you have to think about security and keep you warm. John and I did not know each other before so he anticipated it with a preparation call the day before and a weather/tide checkpoint. If you don’t have much experience, briefing your crew before is a very good protocol.

Do not forget your sunscreen, Sun glasses, snack, water, your own material if you have any and you good mood then you will LOVE IT. John has rods onboard and a very special on for kids which make them more independent after basic instructions. Very cool indeed.

Capitan John is just great. He knows the area, he knows where the fishes are.
The three of us love navigating and very quickly we feel like family.

If you like nature, bring your binoculars too. There is a lot of birds species :-)

Captain John could not have given my grandson and I a better experience. He was so professional but fun and relaxed at the same time. He went above and beyond anything I could have expected.
I highly recommend him. I know we will be back for more!!!

Captain Jack was great. The day way beautiful but seas rough. Thankfully not an issue for us. Caught fish just not ones we could keep to eat. Spent 5 hours trying! Loved our day on the water. Thanks Captain Jack!
