Our group consisted of three adults, father, son, and grandson,  We left the black pearl boat ramp at 3 PM on a Saturday. We returned four hours later with our catch of twenty fish, more or less. They were Spanish Mackerel, pompano, blues, and lady fish. We fished near the turning basin and near docks in the inlet. Captain Remus was great. He was very knowledgeable and put us on some big fish. We caught some mahi, vermillion snapper and bonita. His boat was very clean, he was very professional and a lot of fun to fish with. I will be back on his boat in the future.

The captain is a great guy, he communicated that the seas were too rough and wanted to know if we wanted to reschedule or change from deep sea fishing to onshore fishing which is what we decided on. We were leaving Florida the next day and had gone on two previous fishing trips whew we caught nothing.  Captain Remus said that he would put us on some fish and that is just was he did, we caught many fish to take home. We plan on booking with him again when we go back next month!

We had such a nice day!  Captain went out of his way to make my dad’s birthday a great one!  Thank you so much for a fantastic day of fishing!

Captain Remus has lifelong experience in the waters off Fort Pierce, and it shows. The trip was far enough offshore to be a true “deep sea” experience, and it was exciting to land some nice fish. He and his mate were friendly, helpful, entertaining and honest, and we appreciated the time with them. Thank you!
