I’m truly sorry you were disappointed with your trip. Unfortunately the fish don’t always cooperate and if you recall I was working to locate fish and your sons wife was not feeling well aka seasick so we switched up our plan A after only a short period of time and headed inshore to a much calmer area to accommodate her. I always take the comfort and safety of my crew as priority one. Once there I successfully located the fish and we did catch one fish which I hooked and promptly handed the rod off to you guys. This is a very common practice and widely accepted. Then your family, not me did hook another fish which unfortunately was broke off on the piling after fighting the fish for a short period of time. We shortly after that moved to yet another area to try for a few other species of fish and then ended our day an hour after it was supposed to end. I always go the extra mile to make the day as good as possible. Fishing is just that, fishing. We as charter captains and mates can’t control the fish or our clients ability to catch them. Again I’m sorry you were disappointed.  I hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable and you had a safe trip home.
