The headline pretty much covers it. Captain Ron and Trent were great hosts and clearly knowledgeable fishermen. They made the most of tough conditions and, despite many other boats going home empty handed, put us on some fish. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our trip and we would happily fish with them again.

Captain is a pro. Felt safe on his boat, it easily accommodated the 6 of us (plus the mate and captain). Felt like he and his mate worked all day to put us on the fish. Seemed like he kept us out after all the other boats. Caught some nice tuna, shark got one.

We left at 4 a.m. and captain Ron, and 1st mate Trent put us on the fish the whole day. This was my retirement - bucket list trip for Tuna with the hope of catching a small fin but we landed and released a 110” 800 blue fin. We also caught alot of black and yellow fin tuna.

Going out on Speachless was a blast. I have been off shore on a lot of boats and understand that you will not always catch fish. However it does help when you have a Captain who knows what he’s doing and knows where to go. I have been on Speachless several times now, and have never been skunked. Captain Ron doesn’t like to let the fish get the better of him, and you can tell.

Capt. Ron runs a top notch charter operation.  Very professional.  Capt. Ron’s passion for putting his clients on the fish is reflected in the condition of the boat and gear.  We were very pleased with our trip and will be coming back for another trip in the future!  If you want to fish out of Oregon Inlet, I highly recommend booking with Speechless.
