Capt. Randy and mates Javier and Max were awesome. We have had bill fishing on our bucket list for a long time and wanted to give it a run while in Costa Rica. We caught 5-6 grouper for dinner right off the bat and spent the rest of the time trolling for bill fish. Javier/Max were constantly changing baits and keeping any eye out for any billfish.  We had a few hit the bait but short struck it and didn’t hook up. The last 10 minutes of the trip we finally got lucky and landed a 95 inch 85lb sailfish!  Perfect ending to a fantastic day knocking this fish off the bucket list.  Highly recommend.

This team knows their business. They are professional operators, Captain and crew, that want to put you on the fish. The boat is setup great for sport fish and bottom fish. Randy knows the water and the way the fish move through it. Max and Javier are great mates and took every care of us as guests.

We had a full boat and a great run, we would recommend Talking Fish to anyone thinking about a charter in Tamarindo.

We went out with the primary goal of fishing for dinners during our stay, and the mission was accomplished. When the captain says he can guarantee grouper on the Rock fishing, he means it.

The only mildly disappointing thing was that our meat had bones in it, but that could just be inevitable and is no reason not to book this charter. Highly recommend, and would book again next time I’m in town.

Great day on the water with Captain Randy Wilson.  Boat and crew were outstanding.  We caught several Mahi Mahi and had plenty for a few meals with our large group.

We had a great time reeling in 30 grouper and a few other fish. I would highly recommend, we will be back.
