The first mate and Captain were very personable. They kept us up speed on where we were going and what we were expected to catch. That solicited our opinions on what we wanted (fish) to go for. They gave us options and stopped to point out wildlife (we saw a lot of puffins,whales, and seals). Mattie, the first mate, was the star of the show. She was the most personable interesting first mate I’ve had on a trip. She obviously likes meeting people. Fantastic trip! (8 hour). Highly recommended!

My son (21 yr) and I booked a fishing trip with Captain Luke.  We had an excellent time.  Both he and his first mate were experienced and quite knowledgeable about fishing.  I am a novice but my son is a pretty seasoned fisherman on the Great Lakes.  We both had a great morning.  Wish we could book an additional half day- but our schedule wouldn’t allow.  Knowledgeable, safe, and good company.

My son and I had an incredible experience on the opportunitay.  First mate, Maddie, was friendly and very helpful while giving us info on the area.  Captain Luke put us on the fish and was a real pro in every way.  We’ve done charters in the past and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. We had an awesome time with Luke and Virginia (aka Madi), with three adults and three kids under 12 it was a great setup. We caught fish, brought in some lobster, and did some seal sightseeing. Their boat has a great cabin with a comfy couch and table for the kids who tire of fishing or those who need to take a break from weather. This was one of the highlights of our trip! Captain Luke and Maddie were great and had quick + clear communication. We caught cod, red fish, pollock, mackerel, cusk, and a few others. We got to take home plenty for dinner, as well as a ton of lobster + crab. Overall the trip was a huge success and exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for a great morning!
