As the son of a lobsterman, he grew up on a small island off the coast of Maine that can only be accessed by boat. He has fished the waters from Maine to Florida: "I have fished my whole life, from lobsters to Giant Tunas and everything in between. The ocean is where I feel most at home".
Techniques
For Tuna, I fish live baits on Penn 130 reels. Sometimes, we go after them by kite fishing, or drift fishing.

This week has been a bit windy so we haven't been out a lot. This afternoon the kingfish were very active and the blackfin tuna are plentiful. Still getting muttons and yellowtail on the reef and a lot of signs of life everywhere. The water is warming up and I expect to see good fishing in the upcoming weeks!

As nice as it usually is in the keys, we have had a year of the cold for the past couple of weeks which has thrown this fishing off. BUT, the weather is getting better and the fish are biting again! The wahoo bite had been pretty good, the tuna bite was great today and we even picked up this nice 30lb African pompano. The patch reefs seem to be coming back to life and I expect them to continue to get better. The wind forecast for the foreseeable future is good and it is a great time to book a trip!

Yesterday was a great day on the water. The fish were biting, the weather was beautiful! It was a perfect day for trolling. Wahoo are biting and it's always a fun fight! We caught a couple wahoo, some mahi and blackfin as well.
