My family and I booked Captain Mike for an 8-hour excursion while visiting Charleston for our annual vacation, and this was definitely the highlight of our trip! He was not only extremely knowledgeable regarding the best fishing holes, but he was also very personable, and everyone was at ease with his guidance throughout the day. We caught a number of different species including some sharks! We are already talking about when we are going to see Captain Mike again on our next family trip to Charleston!

Took a morning inshore trip yesterday with 3 friends, and we had a blast! Captain Mike is knowledgeable, helpful, patient and an all-around good guy to hang with. Took his time to get to know us, which many charter captains don’t take the time to do. The fishing was excellent….reds, flounder, trout, all good size. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Capt Mike for a guided fishing trip! We caught lots of Red Fish and some trout and He was truly a joy to be around! He was knowledgeable, patient, respectful and just a great guy who is now become a friend and we will definitely book with him on our next visit to Charleston!

Captain Mike was very friendly from the start and that lasted all day. Conditions were less than ideal as far as wind but he kept us where we were comfortable and worked his tail off to put us on fish. I’ve worked on boats my entire life, bottom fishing, oystering, shrimping, oilfield, party boat, and charter fishing. I feel like I got what I paid for. I would recommend Capt. Mike and if we come to Charleston again, I would go with him again.
