- Captain Stan started fishing the waters of Destin in the early 80's when he was a teenager and has held a USCG license since 1991. He earned his degree in Marine Biology from the University of South Alabama, then returned to Destin Harbor where he captained the party boat Emanuel for eight years. He owned and operated the charter boat Sea Winder from 1999 to 2013. Capt. Stan then purchased and refurbished the charter boat Destination which he currently operates. In the Fall of 2022, he purchased the charter boat Daybreak, operated by Capt. Tyler Short. Its was a perfect addition to the Destination.
