Phillip was terrific. Super-knowledgeable and no wasted time. We easily caught 30 fish and probably 20 keepers. Lots of mingo snapper and squirrel fish. Probably 10 different species. And my son caught a 200-lb blacktip shark! Too big for the boat, but it eventually snapped the line anyway. But not before we got good video of it at the surface. Will definitely use Phillip Houston again on our next trip to Destin.

Capt Zach and Capt Phillip had to cancel due to weather conditions, which was understandable. My son and I were bummed as we had anticipated this trip all week. Capt Zach went above the call of duty and was able to work it out where we could go the following morning for our 6 hr trip. Awesome, as he did not have to go through all the trouble. Captain Zach and Brodie gave our group an outstanding trip without a doubt. When we arrived at the dock the boat was clean and ready to go. Anything we needed was taken care of without question. Would recommend these 2 to anyone!

I took my 12 year old son, 7 year old daughter, sister, mom, and spouse, and we had an outstanding time fishing the 3 hour kids trip.  The Captain was very knowledgeable and personable and was great with the kids.  Not only was the boat ride fun, but we caught over 20 Spanish Mackeral in 3 hours.  This is a must do for family fun, fishing experts and novices.  My 7 year old caught as many as her older brother.  This experience was fantastic and not nearly as expensive as other private charters... I can’t recommend the Malia Ann and Captain Eric and Firstmate/Captain Kyle enough! From catching our own baitfish, to absolutely slaying King Mackerel, the entire experience was first class! It doesn’t get any better then having two guys who were born and raised in the area and on the water. If your ever in the destin area there is no one else you should book your trip with! We come down once a year from Ohio and I’ll fish with no one else moving forward! Thanks again guys!!
