Jake was very experienced in fishing, boating and a great host. Puts you on big fish and knows the lake and all the spots. Bring a large cooler if you go out with Jake! Highly recommend for anyone that’s looking for a great day fishing with a great captain. Huge boat plenty of seating and comfy seats(you’ll hardly be seated with the amount of fish you’re catching) 10/10 thank you Jake!

We had an awesome time fishing Lake Wylie in the Carolinas with Captain Jake!  We caught the largest catfish any of us has ever caught, a ton of Crappie and Perch and we had a great time doing it.  There was not a dull moment!! My sons were so excited for fishing.  Capt Jake was on top of things and was able to communicate with me very easily from the very start of booking the trip.  His boat was nice and clean and most importantly he knew the lake like the back of his hand.  Was able to get us to the prime fishing spots where we caught a ton like 30 fish in 3.5 hrs. Our group of six has four boys from 7 to 14.  Captain Jake was very patient with them.  Not only he baited the hooks, unhooked the catch he also explained to them the ins and outs of the fish finder.  These boys were immersed in the whole process knowing these boys I was impressed how well they behaved in the four hours.

My kids love fishing and in lieu of a traditional birthday party, my son wanted to do a fishing trip with a couple of friends. Captain Jake was great, super patient, and answered the hundreds of questions the boys asked. Boat and equipment were well maintained. He was very knowledgeable and knew the spots to go.  Would definitely use again.
