Techniques: I prefer trolling and bottom fishing all of the inshore/nearshore reefs, wrecks and especially live bottom areas while sight casting for larger gamefish. I also enjoy fishing around the jetties and inside the creeks for flounder, trout, sheepshead, red and black drum.

We planned this trip for 5 people and the boat was entirely too small, very difficult to fish 5 off of this boat. We stayed in the same location for four hours and never tried to move to another location or got to try fishing for different species. We expected a lot more for the amount of money this outing cost.

First of all, I would highly suggest making sure you get the right size boat that y’all feel comfortable in next time before booking. There’s over 15 boats just like mine in this inlet that take 5ppl all the time with no issues. Secondly, we stayed where we were because we were catching fish and more than anyone around us. The pictures above prove it. You also failed to mention that you all learned how to flounder fish for the 1st time and many caught their 1st flounder. Why would I leave a bite when it’s on? We were flounder fishing because that’s what was biting, I outta know I fish everyday! If I thought we had a shot at a redfish or other species, we would have been trying to catch one. If we would have fished for reds and sat there for hrs boring y’all to death after no bites, then I would be to blame and then I’m at fault for leaving the flounder bite. The trip prices are set at a very reasonable rate and is with other charter business in the area. As far as I can tell, there are a lot of smiles in those pictures above and on that day throughout our trip. Fishing is already tough this time of year, so in my mind I exceeded expectations on how I thought it was gonna go. Sorry you didn’t feel the same and thank you for sharing your thoughts and not holding back.
