It was the BEST DAY!! I’m so glad I booked this trip. Being two 50 something’s (lol) I was a little concerned, but I did not need to be. Axel,  David and Yuli were great. Yuli met us at the ship port,  made sure we made it to the fishing boat and back at the end.
The Captain was very knowledgeable of the area and I caught the BIGGEST BARRACUDA! My sister caught one as well.  We snorkeled after and David got our pictures under water. When we got back Yuli came with a birthday cake and a tequilla shot for my sisters birthday. It’s the little things in this world that make a difference!  We will definitely be back. Thank you guys so very much!!! You were great!

We had a quick stop in Costa Maya on our Royal Caribbean cruise. Booked from 8-12 for 5 guys. The only negative is the swells. It’s rough. Very rough. I fish saltwater in NorCal and this would be considered a rough day but the captain Axle said this is calm for CM. We almost turned back 30 min in but decided to give it a little more time. Glad we did. Hooked up a 22-25lb mahi and a nice barracuda. Only negative is not with the fishing crew but the restaurant they got to cook it up for us. The kept SOOOOO MUCH of our fish at Kraken restaurant. What they did give us was deliciously prepared. 8 thin fillets, 2 plates of ceviche and 2 plates of thinly sliced sashimi. All that from roughly 15lbs of fish meat. But hey, what can you do? You can’t take it back on the boat and they know it. Besides that, great crew, great boat, great guys. I would 100000% book with them again.

My 14 year old son and I went out on a 3 hour in-shore charter excursion, after leaving our cruise ship.  The boat is not huge but plenty of sun protection for guests,  and all the room that was needed to fish in the waters off Mahahual (Costa Maya).  The crew was incredible - taking care of us and working extremely hard to land big catches.  You could tell they were very experienced.  We caught two barracuda including a 3 foot long one, and a large 15 pound Snapper which fought for at least 15 minutes.  Great day and memorable experience especially for my son!

The captain and his first mate were very nice and we felt safe, but this trip isn’t one we would repeat. After booking, the communication wasn’t good. We didn’t know where to meet until we had already booked our own cab from the port after our ship docked - the captain didn’t send me a message about where to meet him or that he was sending us someone to pick us up until about 10-15 minutes before we were supposed to meet him (and we were already on the road to just a spot on the beach we thought seemed like a likely place to meet). We were on the boat for four hours and, while beautiful, it was very boring. We had expected to actually fish, but we just sat for the vast majority of the boat ride - we didn’t get to help with the bait, or casting, or even pulling up the fish. We only got to spin the rod and they weren’t even good fights. They advertised multiple types of fishing but we only trolled for four hours. In those four hours, we caught four barracuda and had the line snapped or bitten off three times by what they think were wahoo - my son, a fisherman, thinks they didn’t have the right line for the fish they advertised fishing for. I may just not have known what to expect, but it was a huge let down for my family of four. I was also under the impression that they would cook the fish we caught for us, but they didn’t. When the trip ended, they just kind of dropped us off and we didn’t have any idea what to do next as we were waiting for our fish to be cooked. We finally figured out they wouldn’t do that for us and instead sent us to their friend who owned a restaurant and charged us $200 for his fish. It was good fish, but not $200 good. Overall, it was a very long and frustrating experience.

Booked a 4 hr offshore fishing trip. Fished the first 3 hrs inshore then it wasn’t working. Only 2 small barracuda, then moved offshore with no bites. Boat and fishing equipment very dated. They fueled the boat after we had boarded. Thought that was kinda odd. Usually captions are prepared waiting on you.
