We went out on March 7th; the weather was beautiful, and Captain Doug informed us ahead of time that he was watching the weather. If anything changes, he is very accommodating, we had an entire day on the water. At one point Captain Doug casted my wife’s rod directly on top of a keeper speckled trout. The cork immediately went under the water as soon as it hit. I had never seen anything like that before, it was truly awesome! We caught several species of fish, sheepshead, speckled trout and flounder! Captain Doug will assist as much or as little as you may like. He baits the hook, takes the fish off the hook, casts for you, and places the fish in the live well! Captain Doug will take you to different places within the bay, he has several spots that are worthy. If the fish are not biting in one location, we packed up and went somewhere else. Again, could not have asked for a better experience or captain. Captain Doug provides all the bait, rods and tackle, he even has a cooler aboard with ice cold water. When you do book a trip with Captain Doug be sure to bring sunscreen, a ball cap and excitement! You will not be disappointed!

Capt. Doug was a top of the line guide , fishing was a little tough but he worked hard to get us on the fish . Even kept us out past our time that we paid for to make sure we got our fish and were happy with our trip . Will def be fishing with Capt. Doug again

First off, if I were a fish I would be scared of Doug! Very knowledgeable about every aspect of the trip, I think he has memorized every square inch of this area.  We caught way more than we could keep, but we only wanted 2 for dinner that night so all the ones we let go will be there for next time! Thanks Doug!

Nice boat.  Doug insured we had a good time and provided us numerous opportunites to catch fish.  We will use him in the future.
