Captain Brian is very knowledgeable and totally accommodating for 2 guys who never fished the ocean or the inlet. He put us on barracuda right away, and it was a blast! We came back to do some inshore fishing, and we caught a bull shark, another barracuda, and a 40-inch snook. We couldn’t have had a more productive or enjoyable afternoon. If we charter again, it will be with Southern Thunder. A truly memorable experience from start to finish.

It was a super windy day, and the snook bite was dreadfully slow.  A few different live baits, and nothing was working.  Brian asked me if I was comfortable in the rougher water, and we headed out.  Once almost at our limit for mangroves and muttons, Brian’s keen eye spotted a random group of dorado!  Hooked up on 3 within a few minutes.  Lost one and landed two.  Even put a trigger in the cooler!  It was a great day on the water, despite the wind and rough water.  Brian absolutely loves his job, and was equally passionate about making sure “I” was enjoying the trip and landing fish.  Top notch trip!

This was our second trip with Captain Bryan, and we had a blast!  My wife, 11-year-old son and I began the journey by reeling in bait fish with Captain Bryan before heading out into the deeper waters.  Bringing fish up into the boat right after the line hit the water was a positive start.  There was no activity at the first spot we went to, so Bryan did not waste any time fishing that area.  He loves his profession and wants his customers to have a good time and catch a lot of fish.  We hit gold at the next spot and spent the rest of the morning fishing there.  We brought in a nice King and a couple of Cobia and appreciated the fight they put up!  There were quite a few sharks hanging around, and one of them took my wife’s King right as she had it up to the boat!  I also hooked a shark but after being informed it could take up to 2 hours to bring him in, I opted to let him break the line.  On the way back in, Bryan spotted some Loggerhead turtles and spinning sharks and drove us over to get some great camera shots.  With Captain Bryan, you are going to catch some fish and have a great time.  We learn a lot about fishing every time we"re on the boat with him.  He is awesome!  We are looking forward to our next fishing adventure with him.  Fishing Booker also does a great job on keeping you informed about your trip.  They contacted us almost a week prior to our original trip to let us know that the seas were going to be rough and rescheduled us a few days past that date for when the waters were calmer.

Capt. Bryan had us on fish all day, We caught at least 6 or 7 different species and came home with a cooler full!!!!
