Andy’s the man! Great guy, and super knowledgeable. We picked a bad time to fish for our target species, but Andy made sure we didn’t leave empty handed. Ended up with lots of meat in the freezer. All my future charters will be on the Aljo. If you’re like I was, scrolling through charter guide options, congratulations. You are done looking.

Not only was the trip great but before we headed out, the Captain went the through the safety procedures for the boat. Having been on many fishing charters in the past, this was the first time we have experienced a Captain taking the time to make his passengers feel truly safe. Limited out on rock cod, quite a few lingcod, and we even pulled in a beautiful halibut.

Captain Andy asked what kind of fish we wanted to catch.  The kids wanted to catch a scary looking lingcod so we targeted those early and limited out.  He quickly got us moved on to coho salmon after that.  The kids got kinda sea sick and Captain had cold ginger ale to help fight it off.

Captain and deckhand were both great. The boat was clean and big enough for all five of us. We were limited out by 11:30! Will be going on this boat again!

So much fun!! Caught 23 beautiful fish and six big crabs. Captain and deck hand were helpful and made it a great experience. Would absolutely recommend.
