Locals said it’s been a slow go on the lake lately. But Matt knew what to use and where to go. Excellent time.

My grandson and I fished with Matt for 2 days in June and learned an incredible amount about the area, the fisheries, our target species and how to fish for them. Matt is a great teacher, and very patient with youngsters.  His equipment is top notch and our results clearly indicate that he knows the area lakes and how to put fish in the boat.

Matt was a great guide and got us on some fish quick. He had a real talent at teaching my son and gave him great advice. Thank you so much for helping us catch some big bass…we had a wonderful time at Mille Lacs!

My 10 and 11 year old boys caught some amazing fish and captain Mike was amazing!  Mike was extremely knowledgeable, well prepared, and patient.

15-20 of the nicest smallmouth I have ever caught. That was what I was fortunate enough to get on a trip to Mille Lacs with Matt last fall. A combination of good boat work and the expert use of the latest electronics kept us on the fish and made for a great day. Don’t forget the hard water fishing either as we had a couple of great panfish trips in the Alex area this past winter. I will be fishing with Matt a lot on the future.
