Background
I was brought up on boats my whole life here in Clearwater. From when I saw my first commercial fishing boat I knew exactly what I wanted to do... fish for a living. My fishing career started immediately after high school when I got a job as a deckhand on one of the head boats out of Clearwater Municipal Marina. I had my sights set on being captain as soon as I started, and it didn't take long. As soon as I had enough time for my 100 ton masters captains license, I took the courses and got it. I started running the head boat at 21 years old and loved it. After gaining the fishing knowledge and the overall experience of running a 90 passenger head boat for a few years, I decided it was time to start my own charter boat operation. I like the more personalized fishing experience of a six passenger vessel and I like having the speed to be able to get to the more fertile fishing grounds in an efficient manner. I have a true passion for what I do and I love catching fish!
