Booked with Captain Steve to try to catch a tarpon. Never tried to before this trip.

He took us right to a spot where we saw fish busting the surface immediately. Put out the bait and moved around to keep finding the fish. Eventually, one hit my rod and the fight was on.

After fighting for about an hour and ten minutes, we got the fish to the boat but I broke the rod and the fish took off! I was absolutely shot after the long fight. Fish estimated to be 180 lbs and about 6’ long. It was a tank that kept taking drag every time I got him to the surface. We didn’t get any clear pictures, unfortunately.

Captain Steve was great to fish with. He got us on the fish of a lifetime. Gave good instruction, nice boat, nice guy. Easy to work with and got our money’s worth. Great time.

Highly recommend Captain Steve’s charter and will book again if I get the opportunity to visit Florida again.

We had an amazing day on the water! I can’t speak highly enough of Captain Steve. He didn’t just put us on fish—he made the whole experience top-notch. His style of guiding is the perfect balance: he teaches without over-managing, letting each angler really enjoy the fight.

We landed a great variety—king and Spanish mackerel, snapper, grouper, cobia, grunts, Black Sea bass, and flounder. It was nonstop action and the pictures say it all! I’ll definitely be booking with him again the next time I’m in town. If you’re thinking about it, don’t hesitate—this is the place to be!

I don’t know if I can even remember everything. Put it this way, you need to be on this boat! We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain Steve. He molded our trip to exactly what we asked for. We wanted variety with a chance at a monster. We didn’t hook up to any monsters but caught 30ish fish, probably 8 or so different species. I stopped keeping track because someone was always hooked up. He’s very knowledgeable about where to go, and we were hooked up within 2 minutes of first splash.

It was hard picking which boat we wanted since so many have great reviews. I literally chose Steve because of his intro vid, talking about his daughters and such. We’re huge in to family and I could tell he was our guy.

Steve, we can’t thank you enough for everything. J is still talking about it 4 hours later, the girls keep going through the pics, and I don’t think my smile has left my face yet. If/when we ever get back to the area, we’ll 100% be looking you up. Might have to save up for an all day trip :) Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Thank you Captain Stephen for such a wonderful fishing adventure this past week. We’ve booked a few different charters in the past but have not experienced anything like yours with My Girls Adventures!  From the music on the boat to all the hospitality and teaching us about the different fish and some new tips and tricks (reeling in the big ones!).  We learned so much from you..  Thank you also for cleaning up the fish when we were finished, we had a huge feast that night for dinner.  We are huge “fans” and will definitely book with you again when we are back in Florida!

Beginner level off shore fishing with my daughter and granddaughter on July 5th. Captain Stephen put us on fish right away. Assisted us when needed to keep lines in the water. Cleaned our catch, bagged and labeled. Recommended places that would also cook it up for us. Captain is very personable and easy going. I really liked the insulated bag he iced our fish in and wanted to get one, so he sent me the link.  Would highly recommend and can’t wait till we can go again. Great time!
