Captain Dan brought us to the perfect shark fishing spot.  We caught black nose and black tip sharks.

Let me start off with, I’ve never had such a dynamic fishing experience as I’ve had with Capt. Daniel. We booked a 4-8 shark/tarpon charter for myself, my wife and our 9yo son. Capt. Daniel DELIVERED!!! We were taken to a fantastic and beautiful location where all types of sharks came, and I’m talking a lot, up to 15 6ft+ sharks and a few 4 footers in the pack. It was unbelievable!!!! Crystal clear waters so you can see the sharks when they hit the bait. My son pulled in 3 different types of sharks, a bull shark, lemon shark and nurse shark. All easily 6ft 150+lbs.  My wife hooked upon a monster lemon that she gave up on after 20mins and I continued for another 75 mins. Easily 7ft 250lbs. This thing made 4 hard runs every time I would get him close to the boat. Each run would nearly take the entire 400yrd spool out. A Fantastic fight to end the trip! I can’t recommend Capt. Daniel enough.

This was a great trip with Captain Dan - 6 sharks and a Goliath Grouper between 3 of us.  We’ve had some good days before with excellent skippers but Dan is a class apart - ‘different gravy’ as we say in the UK.  He’s incredibly knowledgeable and capable, constantly working to put you on fish and get the best experience.  He’s also though a really great engaging guy which makes the trip even more fun.  When playing my grouper, it got tangled in an old rope under the mangroves.  Dan stripped off, donned a face mask, put a knife between his teeth and dived in to cut the fish free.  Not something in the standard job description of a charter boat captain but all in a day’s work for Dan.  Thanks again Dan for a brilliant trip - we will be back!!
