Went out and the seas were very rough 10-12 seas. You would think we would have stayed in for protection. We didn’t care what we caught! Then no fish, guess you can’t blame the crew.

Very mediocre experience.  No fish and a very strong diesel smell in the cabin while trolling.

We were taken out on may 14th in extremely rough seas. Rene did not captain our boat. The mate at the halfway point suggested we turn around as we were not going to make our destination. We did not fish at all! When we arrived back at the dock we were not met by the owner/Rene. Very unprofessional, we were out an hour and paid for the entire trip and tipped the boat for getting us back safely. The boat itself is not comfortable, and does not offer a good experience. Deck hand was inexperienced and badly cut his hand forcing the captain (not Rene) to work the deck. Captain lied about the fish being caught stating that it could not be shipped home. This was a ploy to get us to give the crew the fish. I spoke directly to a US Customs officer who stated that there were no restrictions on shipping fish off Aruba.
