Captain Paco was very up front and honest. I had an afternoon trip scheduled and he reached out well in advance and asked if we were able to fish in the morning instead because the bite had been better in the morning. He was on time and prepared for us the morning of our trip. We caught a bunch of tarpon in the 8-15 lb range in the first 3 hours so we decided to move and target the bigger class fish. We had 2 big bites in the last hour which is all you can ask for when targeting world class tarpon. Water, soda, bug spray, and sunblock were provided as promised. I would most definitely fish with Captain Paco again!

Best fishing experience we’ve ever had. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking again. Such an exciting trip and awesome knowledge of the fish we were trying to catch and the other animals we saw too. Ended up landing 7 tarpon with the 8th getting away which looked like a snook. Each was a good fight but with the help of captain Mendez we were able to bring them in, take some awesome pics and release them back into the water. Memories to last a lifetime!

Our half day trip with Captain Paco was absolutely amazing! He is highly experienced and friendly. We fought a 100 pound tarpon for about 30 minutes. We got it to the boat and he did everything he could to help us get it on to the boat but we weren’t able to (totally okay with us, we had so much fun fighting it!). We caught a 35 pound tarpon shortly after! Overall, such a great experience- would highly recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable fishing day!

CAPT Mendez started the day with selecting the perfect site to slay giant Tarpon.  He had the boat, tackle and refreshments ready to go when I arrived. He really knows the waters and reads the minds of the Tarpon.  We were fishing for 1.5 hours and I reeled in 13 Tarpon that were from 2.5 feet to 4.5 feet in length. Great day!  Thank you CAPT Mendez for a great time and making my vacation something to talk about for years to come.

We had so much fun! My son landed the first tarpon and Captain Paco was great at coaching Aven in how to land the fish. We got pictures quickly and returned the fish to the water. Things became quiet after a while so we checked out another spot. The tarpon were rolling again. We set up and waited. While waiting for the next catch we enjoyed chatting with Captain Paco and learning more about the area and different experiences we have gone through. Then wham! The line on a real was zinging out! He snatched the rod and handed it to me. I had a great 25 minute fight and Captain Paco was excellent with coaching me and working the boat to land that tarpon. Captain Paco was very respectful of the fish and made sure the fish was revived and willing to go on its own before releasing it. I will definitely contact Captain Paco for my next fishing trip here in Puerto Rico for I want to come back for peacock bass.
