Had an amazing peacock bass fishing experience in Puerto Rico!
The captain was extremely knowledgeable about local waters and knew exactly where to find the fish. From start to finish, everything was well organized and professional.

We were consistently on fish, with plenty of aggressive strikes and beautiful peacock bass. The captain was very patient, explained techniques clearly, and made sure everyone had a great time, whether experienced or first-time anglers.

The boat and gear were in excellent condition, and safety was always a priority. If you’re looking to catch peacock bass in Puerto Rico and want a reliable, skilled guide who truly knows the fishery, I highly recommend this charter. I would absolutely book again on my next trip.

I’m going to start off by saying if you’re planning on taking this charter you 100% should!! He had us on the fish in maybe 10 minutes tops not only that but I had contacted the Capt on incredibly short notice for a trip less than 24 hours away and was lucky enough to get in. The reason I say you should take this charter is because of the captain! His knowledge of the water the patience the captain has to not only help you catch a fish but really teach you and show you how catch a fish that you’ve never caught before was amazing. He was incredibly attentive, caring, and uplifting when I lost the first couple of fish due to my own mess ups not his!! But man oh man did that pay off after I caught a 150lb Tarpon!! Take this charter if you can!!

My 8 year old son loves fishing as much as I do. He has caught countless Midwest freshwater fish and a number of saltwater species. He asked to catch a tarpon while we were in Luquillo so I said I’d see what we can do. Captain Paci has an excellent reputation and has been around forever so I booked him. He put us on fish all day and coached my son through the finer points of landing one. He was an excellent captain and 100% professional. You can tell he has a nose for fish and a passion to land them! In between fighting the silver kings we got to chat and he is a heck of a guy too!  I could have chatted for hours but we kept getting interrupted by strikes! I will book him every time I’m back in PR and highly recommend to family and friend that visit! Amazing experience!

Before the trip, I asked if we should go for peacock bass or tarpon. The captain said to wait untik the day before to see which was biting best. He recommended peacock bass. I’m so glad he did. He told me we would catch a lot of fish. I had an incredible day. Over 40 peacock bass in 3 hours. Largest about 5.5 lbs. I highly recommend this captain. Hope to bring my sons back to do this again.

Paco was extremely patient, helpful, and knowledgable. We ran into uber trouble and showed up very late but Paco was very understanding and did not complain. If you just do what he says you will have a blast catching peacock bass. This was a bucket list fish for me and it did not disappoint. Paco helped us land multiple big bass and our biggest was around 8lbs which was a great fight. I think we caught more than 20 fish in 4hrs. I will be talking about this trip for months. And i will be back for his Tarpon tour next time!! Thanks again Paco!!!
